What we collect

If you join the mailing list, we store the email address you give us and nothing else. If you email us, we keep that correspondence so we can reply.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages get read, roughly where visitors are in the world, and what brought them here. It sets cookies and Google processes that data on our behalf. It tells us nothing about you personally, and we do not try to identify individual visitors.

We ask before any of that happens. The banner on your first visit sets your choice, and nothing analytics-related loads unless you accept. To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will ask again.

You can also opt out with Google's browser add-on, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser.

What we don't do

We set no advertising cookies, run no ad networks, and do not sell, rent or share your email address.

Your address

Every mailing-list email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also write to hello@hostilefloater.com and ask us to delete your address, and we will.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard server request logs on our behalf. Mailing-list addresses are handled by our email provider.
